In historic areas of the Foundation will host a selection of representative works of the last two series of works by the artist, "but Straziami saziami kisses" and "Ascension of the dog at the sky", developed in 2008 and 2009. Theme is apparent in both the figure of the dog, who is portrayed in an almost obsessive in all the paintings. The dog, however, is only a pretext to deal with the standardization of human behavior with respect to the natural world and animals. This is permeated by the need to assert supremacy man through the exercise of a total and continuous control over all living things.
The dog, taken as a symbol for a particularly intimate relationship with mankind is so estranged from each context is represented immersed in a fluid monochrome and decontextualized. The will and personality is removed, it becomes a subject of study, as a guinea pig is often depicted with his head cut off and the body divided into two distinct parts. This section is metaphoric of the repression that is performed on the animal to bend and shape it until it becomes almost a piece of furniture.
Levitation without gravity with which the subjects are shown, they imply, however, also recalls Catholic mystics and drawing with the word "ascension" to the idea of \u200b\u200bresurrection. On the one hand it is further humanization of nature as the act of forgiveness also requires revival of an original sin merely human, other animal mystifies the subject and makes him a martyr of an animistic religion that in its rise to a sense of freedom is slavery and stickiness in the paint that feels smooth and substantial background.
